Dr Heng Jee Kuan

Dr Heng graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1996 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree. Upon graduation, he was posted to Government Dental Clinic at SGH for a year. In 1997, he embarked on a 3-year Orthodontic program at Guys’, Kings’ and St Thomas’ School of Dental Medicine, the largest dental school in Europe. In 2000, he graduated with a Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of London. In the same year he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh.

Dr Heng was admitted as an Orthodontic Specialist with the General Dental Council, United Kingdom in 2000. In 2007, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine and was enrolled as an Orthodontic Specialist with the academy.

Dr Heng has been in practice restricted to Orthodontics since 1997. In practice, he has been utilizing a variety of appliances [fixed/removable/lingual (invisible)] to treat the various kinds of dental and skeletal problems and he is also a certified Invisalign® provider.  He has many years of experience in treating different cases with Invisalign.

Besides his practice, Dr Heng is active in the lecturing circuit.  He has been invited by 3M Unitek to give lectures in Taiwan and China in the use of self ligating brackets (Smartclip).  Dr Heng is one of the first few orthodontists in Singapore to use this technology and he has been sharing his expertise with the dentists and orthodontists in the region.

Dr Heng has been the co-author of several research papers and is in the forefront of assessing new technologies in improving the process and outcome of braces treatment.

Dr Loh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1995 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree.  During her undergraduate days in dental school, Dr Loh obtained numerous awards and scholarship.

Upon graduation, she was posted to School Dental Service.  In School Dental Service, Dr Loh was involved in providing dental services in the primary and secondary schools.  She is also involved in the teaching of dental surgery assistants, dental hygienists and dental therapists.  In 1996, she was posted to Government Dental Clinic SGH. At Government Dental Clinic, Dr Loh was involved in the management of patients who requires specialist treatment .

As an Associate Consultant at the National Dental Centre, she is involved in clinical tutoring of the post-graduate orthodontic programme.  She is also actively involved in the dento-facial deformity programme where patient with skeletal discrepancies or facial deformities such as cleft lip and palate were treated.  In practice, she has been utilizing a variety of appliances [fixed/removable/lingual (invisible)] to treat the various kinds of dental and skeletal problems.  Dr Loh is also a certified Invisalign provider with vast amount of experience in treating different cases with Invisalign.

Dr Loh is fluent in both Mandarin and English and is the most sought after lecturer.  She has been actively giving lectures in the Asia region such as Taiwan and China.  She is one of the first orthodontist in Singapore to use the self-ligating braces by 3M Unitek (Smartclip) and she has been sharing her experiences with orthodontists and dentists in the Asia region.

Dr Yong Su Lin

Dr Yong Su Lin obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from National University of Singapore in 1999.

Following her graduation, she has served in the National Dental Centre, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics for 5 years.  During her stint with the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, she was in-charge of Hougang Dental Clinic for one and a half years and was involved in the administration and the daily running of the clinic.

Dr Yong’s main interest is in the areas of aesthetic dentistry. Besides performing general dentistry such as minor oral surgery and root canal treatment, she is actively involved in the management of patients’ overall dento-facial aesthetics with the use of crowns, bridges, veneers and all types of dental implant prostheses. She is passionate about patient’s overall dental care and is attuned to the latest in dental technology and technique through continuous dental education to provide the best and most comfortable treatment to the patient.

Dr Aidan Yeo

Dr Aidan Yeo

Dr Aidan Yeo graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997. He served for two years as a dental officer at the National Dental Centre before embarking on a three year residency program in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. He graduated with a Masters of Dental Surgery (Oral Maxillofacial Surgery) and was also admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.  He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore and is inducted as a specialist in Oral Surgery.

Having undergone extensive basic and advanced specialty training, Dr Yeo is well versed in many aspects of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. He has special interest in the areas of dental implantology and orthognathic surgery, both of which help patients tremendously in improving function, appearance and quality of life. In addition he has also received training in maxillofacial trauma, oral pathology and oral medicine. Dr Yeo has particular interest in the care and management of patients undergoing radiation therapy for head and neck oncology.

Dr Yeo has served as a lecturer for the RMIT Certificate in Dental Assisting program and was also involved in the training of postgraduate residents. He is currently in private practice and also holds an adjunct senior lecturer position in the National University of Singapore. Besides clinical work, he is a firm believer in continuing education and is a keen teacher who enjoys sharing his knowledge and expertise with peers and juniors. In his spare time, he enjoys a good round of golf.

Dr Louise Yap

Dr Louise Yap graduated from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry in 2005.  Upon graduation she has worked with the Health Promotion Board and School Dental Services.  This has enable her to gain experiences in treating children of all ages. She was subsequently posted to National Dental Centre as well as the Singapore Armed Forces. At these postings, she worked with the various dental specialties and this had gave her the necessary experiences and skills to treat difficult cases.

Over the years, she has established very good rapport with patients and has many loyal patients returning to seek her services.  Her caring and amiable nature has endeared herself to many of the children that have come to her for treatment.

Dr Yap is married and she enjoys travelling whenever she has the free time.

Dr Anwar Zakaria

Dr. Anwar obtained his Bachelor Of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS). During his time in NUS, he was awarded the Robert Lin Memorial Award for being the top student in Pharmacology, the University Medal for academic excellence and was placed on the Dean’s List. He also took part in the Student Exchange Programme to the University of North Carolina in 2011.

Upon graduation, he served in Singhealth Polyclinics and was appointed the Dental Officer In Charge of Bedok Polyclinic (Dental Centre) where he was involved in both seeing patients and the general management of the dental clinic. Dr. Anwar then left for private practice and has since been with the Epismile Dental Group and Novena Dental Aesthetic Practice (an affiliated clinic of Epismile Dental Group).

Dr. Anwar is a firm believer in continuing dental education and he has attended multiple lectures and conferences both overseas and locally. This allows him to keep up-to-date with the changes in dentistry and hence deliver the best form of care to his patients. Over the span of his clinical practice, Dr. Anwar has developed strong inclination for aesthetic and implant dentistry and as of 2014 has also been recognized as an accredited user of Invisalign.

In his free time, Dr. Anwar enjoys travelling and delves into horology.

Dr. Lee obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS). During her time in NUS, she was placed on the Dean's List. She received the Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize for her group Undergraduate Research Opportunities Project on oral care education for children at special schools, and went on to publish a paper in the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry in conjunction with the project.

Upon graduation, she has worked at polyclinics under National Healthcare Group and SingHealth, as well as at the National Dental Centre. She was also posted to the Singapore Armed Forces as a dental officer. At these postings, she had the opportunity to treat patients of all ages and see a wide range of cases. This has served her well in caring for her patients with gentleness and patience to put them at ease.

Aside from work, Dr. Lee's interests include dance and travel.

Dr. Lee Ying Ting obtained her Bachelor Of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS). She was awarded Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize for her published research paper on Oral Care Education for children. As an undergraduate, she was selected for an exchange programme with the University of Dundee,  Scotland. Dr Lee also participated in Project Sabai where she delivered dental education and treatment to Cambodian children.

After graduating, she spent 4 years with the government at National University Hospital (NUH), SingHealth Polyclinics, National Healthcare Group and Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) where she learnt to manage patients with a wide range of dental conditions and patients who were medically compromised. She was also a Dental Officer In Charge at SAF where she was tasked with managing the dental clinic, treating patients and teaching dental assistants.

Dr. Lee Ying Ting is dedicated in ensuring the best care for her patients and she firmly believes in providing a comfortable and stress-free dental experience. In order to deliver optimal care, she consistently attends lectures and conferences covering a comprehensive scope of topics from dental implants to aesthetic dentistry.

In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and seeking out great food!

Dr Nadia Cheah

Dr Nadia Cheah attained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry in 2017. Following her graduation, she served the public healthcare sector in Bedok and Tampines polyclinics, where she managed patients of various ages and backgrounds, including many with the phobia of visiting the dentist. While at Tampines polyclinic, she was awarded the Silver Award at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards.  She then worked in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Nee Soon Dental Centre as a Dental Officer for 3 years.  On top of treating patients on a daily basis, she held the position of Dental Officer In-Charge tasked with overall clinic management.  She was also the Chief Course Examiner for the Dental Assistant Training Course, where she oversaw and conducted lectures, practical lessons and examinations to train incoming medics to become good dental assistants. Dr Nadia's extensive work experience has honed her skills in managing a wide range of conditions requiring complex dental treatment such as crowns, bridges, root canal treatment, extractions and minor surgeries. A firm believer that prevention is better than cure, Dr Nadia believes in providing quality individualised care to all her patients, and hopes that each visit to the dentist will be a pleasant and stress-free one.  It is a bonus to her if she can help in easing that phobia of the dentist bit by bit!  In order to give her patients the best care, she regularly updates her knowledge and skills by attending continuing education courses and workshops to keep abreast with the latest developments that can contribute to a smooth dental experience. Outside of work, Dr Nadia is a regular Singaporean who cannot live without tehbing and sinful hawker food, enjoys dancing, dabbles in some jewelry-making and tries her best to keep fit by attending spin classes (yikes).
